The End of the Game

The End of the Game is a meditation on the end of life. Death will always be one of life's mysteries but it's something we are all going to have to face sooner or later.

The play tells the story of Charlie, a terminally ill man in his late 6o's. As is made clear in the play, he was very close with his wife who passed before him, and he now faces this last journey on his own with only his carer for company and his memories of the family members he grew up knowing.

The play looks to say some serious things about this final moment, but attempts to address it with humour and pathos.
