Stewart Lee

Stewart Lee is a stand up comedian I have admired for many years. I love the mixture of philiosophy and politics in his work, and the challenge he always offers his audiences.

But recently I've come to appreciate that not only is he is a very funny guy, he's also a deep thinker about the art form in which he works. However, what I have come to appreciate is that what he says about stand up comedy may also be useful in a consideration of the future of theatre and theatre writing.
