The Drama Department is proud to present its production of The Practical Princess performed by students from Upper 3 through to Lower 5. This new show, with 12 songs, draws its inspiration from Jay Williams’ The Practical Princess and Other Liberating Fairy Tales and perhaps can best be described as ‘the traditional fairy tale meets Blackadder’.
The Practical Princess is designed to fall into the ‘family entertainment’ slot. It is a right royal romp.
The show boasts a cast of exciting new performers, many of whom are treading the boards in a Senior School show for the very first time. The creative team is the same as worked on ‘The Typhoid Marys’ at the Edinburgh Festival last year and so has Lucy Holloway (West End choreographer and dancer) as choreographer/animateur and designer Barbara Tong bringing the show to life with her wonderful set and costumes.
Tickets can be ordered via the Senior School Office or may be reserved by clicking on the poster to the left. All tickets will be reserved for you on the door for collection.
Ticket prices are £8.00 for adults and £6.00 for students and concessions.
